Admission
Each year, applications for admission are available from December 1st to January 31st. During this time, application packages may be picked up at the school’s Main Office, and need to be completed and returned by January 31st.
St. Agnes Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
Given the mission of the school as an agent of Catholic Christian formation, the school will accept only those children whose parents demonstrate an understanding of the specifically Christian nature of the school, as well as a desire to participate in that mission.
Therefore, priority of admission is given to active parishoners who support the parish, and to siblings of children already enrolled. Some children may not be accepted because the school’s educational program and facilities are not able to meet the needs of the child. When space is available, out-of parish Catholic children or non-Catholics may be accepted. Because our class size is limited, availability of space and date of application are also considerations. Testing and a review of previous school records are prerequisites to admission.
The schools of the Archdiocese follow the Florida Catholic Conference guidelines with regard to the age of admission to Pre-K, Kindergarten or 1st grade.
School tours are given on Tuesdays from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., by appointment only. To sign up for a tour, please contact the Admissions Office at 305-361-3245, ext. 203.
